Save the date for a Coffee Break

(San Antonio, TX) January 14, 2011—Aspen Beverage Group, a San Antonio based roaster and innovative beverage manufacturer, will set aside and recognize January 20, 2011 as National Coffee Break Day.

 

WHAT: National Coffee Break

WHO: National Coffee Association of USA, with the participation of the tens of thousands of coffee-related businesses and the millions of people who drink coffee every day

WHEN: Thursday, January 20, 2011, during a full week (1/17-21) of dedicated, industry-wide Coffee Break activities

WHERE: Across the United States and throughout the coffee-consuming world

HOW: Invite friends, family and colleagues to take a break from their work day to join you for a cup of coffee

WHY: Since the 1880s, Americans have taken a break from their work day to refresh themselves with a cup of coffee, part of a long tradition of coffee as a centerpiece of kinship and conversation.

The National Coffee Association of USA, marking its Centennial in 2011, is celebrating coffee history and culture by encouraging friends, family and colleagues to share the perks of taking a coffee break during their work day.
